6,600 RE/MAX Agents To Use CloseYourDeal.com

Realty Plus Online, Inc., provider of CloseYourDeal.com(tm) transaction management technology, and RealEstateNet, Inc., an affiliate of RE/MAX of California & Hawaii, Inc., part of the RE/MAX franchise network, today announced that RE/MAX of California & Hawaii"s nearly 300 offices will adopt CloseYourDeal to automate real estate transactions over the Internet. In addition, RE/MAX of California & Hawaii has also agreed to use Fusion MLS(tm) as a listing management solution within its agent network. RE/MAX of California & Hawaii has more than 6,600 Associates who completed nearly 100,000 transactions in 2000, representing more than $26 billion in sales volume, a 12% increase over 1999. CloseYourDeal.com, according to the company, is the first national system to automate real estate transactions over the Internet-- from listing the property to closing the deal. Fusion MLS is a powerful Internet based MLS system that allows agents to access property data via an Internet connection. The implementation of these technologies are being spearheaded within RE/MAX by its newly established affiliate, RealEstateNet, Inc., a new organization chartered with providing innovative and efficient technology systems to the RE/MAX California & Hawaii agent network.
